Dear Parents,

At the School Board meeting of April 18, 2012, the Board approved the dismissal schedule for students on the last three days of school, as follows:

Students’ Schedule for June 5-7, 2012
Schools	Tuesday, June 5	Wednesday, June 6	Thursday, June 7
Elementary Schools	(K-1) 8:20 a.m. – 1:35 p.m.
	(2-5/6) 8:20 a.m. – 1:35 p.m.
K-8 Centers	8:20 a.m. – 1:35 p.m.
Middle Schools	9:10 a.m. – 2:40 p.m.
Senior High Schools	7:20 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.

Breakfast and Lunch: Students will be provided the opportunity to have both breakfast and lunch each day before dismissal.

· After School Care Programs: Principal Operated, Middle School Enrichment, YMCA, YWCA, FCAA, CKL, and CAW after school care programs will be provided for currently enrolled students during the extended care time starting at dismissal and ending no earlier than 6:00 p.m. at no additional cost to parents. Same day drop-offs of non-enrolled students will not be permissible.

Bus Schedules: M-DCPS student bus schedules will remain the same in the morning. Bus schedules will be adjusted for dismissal times for the last three days of school.

Parent Pick-ups: Your prompt arrival when picking-up your child(ren) at dismissal is very important.

Please be assured that every precaution will be made for your child(ren) to have a smooth and safe dismissal each day. Should you have any questions, please contact the school.
