Welcome back! We are greeted by 2008 and we are half way through this school year. It’s not to late to get     involved if you haven't already. There is lots more for you to do if you are up to the challenge.

 

First on the radar is our Winter Festival. It will be held on Saturday February 23rd, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We are planning a terrific time for our Kenwood family. We hope you will climb up a rock wall, or take a huge leap on the bungee trampoline, or slide down 33ft. before attempting the obstacle course. You can cool down in the dunk tank, grab a bite to eat, and then get ready for something sweet before some fun and games. Come prepared for some great music, time with friends, family and your teachers and coaches.  Come also     prepared to go to jail!  We hope to see you all.

 

Kenwood parents, we will also have a silent auction of some great items and gift certificates, so don't miss out.

 

Tickets for our Festival will be pre-sold at $8.00 the week prior to the festival and $10.00 the day of the festival. A flyer will be sent home to remind you.

 

Our Kenwood Winter Festival also offers an opportunity for any of our Kenwood Families and/or businesses to sponsor a ride. Your family or your business can sponsor at a Gold ($500.00), Silver ($300.00) or Bronze $200.00 sponsorship level. The sponsorship will entitle you to a beautiful, colored sign which shall display your family/firm/business name in the front of the ride(s) venue.

 

Further, your sponsorship will also be listed in the March, April and May (2008) Kenwood Times. But lastly, your support will, more importantly, further enrich the lives of our Kenwood students and support our Kenwood teachers.  I have provided a tear-off form below for Festival sponsorships.
