ESOL | Verbo-Tonal | Speech | Synergy | C.C.H.L | Spanish | Journeys English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) The goal of the ESOL Program is to address the need of students learning English. The Miami-Dade County Public School's ESOL curriculum aims to provide language acquisition and to foster a cooperative approach to learning. The ESOL curriculum also strives to teach all children information pertaining to their own heritage and that of others, particularly as it relates to the contributions of all groups within the American Society. In essence, the goal is to prepare and develop successful bilingual and bi-literate students in a multicultural setting, equipped to meet the challenges of the future and become participating citizens in a global society.
