Kenwood Corners | Future Educators of America | K Kids | Chorus | Safety Patrols K KIDS The K-Kids at Kenwood is a group of 5th-8th graders who display Leadership characteristics. Their main function is to welcome new 1st-5th grade students to Kenwood K-8 Center as welcome ambassadors. They meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 8:00-8:30 A.M. in the Annex cafeteria. On the second Wednesday of each month throughout the school year, representatives of our group attend a luncheon with the members of the Kiwanis Club of Biscayne Bay, our community sponsors. On the first Wednesday of each month, our group sponsors a pizza sale under the old P.E. shed immediately after school at 2 P.M. We also have other projects such as reading to our younger Kenwood students and providing school supplies to some of our needy students. We take educational fieldtrips throughout the year.
